Ocean Free Itinerary - Ocean Free | Sail to Green Island

Boat Description	16.5 metre sailing schooner
Departures	Check-in from 7.15am at Cairns' Reef Fleet Terminal, at the Ocean Free and Ocean Freedom desk. After check-in, proceed to boarding from 7.30am. Boarding location: Finger No. 4 at Cairns' Marlin Marina, for an 8.00am departure. Coffee, tea, fruit and muffins served on boarding.
Destinations: Green Island and the Great Barrier Reef	Sail to our exclusive mooring on Pinnacle Reef, just 1km offshore from Green Island. This Marine Park Reserve is protected from fishing and has an abundant range of marine life. Transfers to Green Island are provided in our tender.
Your Day	Upon arrival at Pinnacle Reef, enjoy a swim, snorkel, scuba dive or just relax. Ocean Free's exclusive mooring ensures that the ocean is uninterrupted by crowds. The "bommies" (coral outcrops) and coral gardens, are just 1 metre under the surface and are teaming with life. Easily viewed snorkelling and scuba diving. Ocean Free provides tender transfers to Green Island throughout the day, so you can spend time on the reef and the island.
Your Lunch and Afternoon Snacks	A large smorgasbord lunch consisting of a mixed meat platter, chicken platter, 3 fresh salads and assorted breads is served on board the boat. Tropical fruit platter, cheese, crackers and cake served on the sail home.
Our Guests	Extremely low guest numbers (max 35 people) ensures a personal snorkel and dive experience on the Great Barrier Reef. All guests are assessed for their snorkelling and diving abilities and are appropriately assisted to ensure they experience and enjoy the Great Barrier Reef in safety and comfort. Guests need to be mobile enough to get in and out of a dinghy from the beach and the boat.
Green Island	The choice is yours. Enjoy most of the day on the island or just an hour, exploring the walking tracks and rainforest. The amount of time spent between the island and the boat is your choice. The island is perfect for a swim, sunbathe, glass bottom boat, a semi-sub tour or Marineland Melanesia (where crocs in captivity can be seen as well as many other sea-life). Glass Bottom Boat and Semi-sub can be organised on the day from the Island.
Diving: Certified and Introductory	Guests who have never dived and wish to try it, may do an introductory dive. Maximum 3 divers to one instructor for your first dive. Guests who are certified divers can enjoy the wonders of the reef with a complimentary guide.
